Without the description it isn't that funny so here's what happened. Gunnar was on the floor (we're not exactly sure how long he'd been there) and Mom was on the couch. I was in the dining room in front of the sliding patio door enjoying the breeze and all of a sudden Mom was laughing and took this picture. I thought Gunnar had just stretched into a cute position so Mom had to take his picture. I was wrong. He'd been in this position for awhile glarring at Mom. Mom realized he was stuck and her first instinct as a Mom was to take his picture (glad I wasn't the one getting stuck!!!) and then she released his claws from the carpet. Mom has to trim his nails on a regular basis. Mom says she's never had a cat who's claws/daggers grow like Gunnar's! They get so long they curl into his feet. In the old house Mom knew it was time to trim his nails because he would click on the hardwood floors. This house is lots and lots of carpet so he doen't click unless he goes into the bathrooms and he hardly ever goes in there so Mom decided Sunday she needs to check him once in awhile instead of waiting for the clicking. He hasn't gotten clipped yet because Mom had just vacuumed and didn't want to get the vacuum out again to clean up the mess, but he will be clipped soon and I can't wait. After Gunnar gets his nails done we all get treats!!! It's great!!
I'm off to take a nap now. All this laughing at Gunnar stuck on the carpet makes me exhausted.

OMDog thats hilarious!! Is that a really deep pile carpet too because in the picture it almost looks like Gunnar is getting eaten by it.. a bit like disappearing into quicksand BOL!

Our cat Hailey has nails that grow like that. But not Cleo, her nails seem to do just fine. Mysterious cats!

Poor Gunnar. No wonder he look so unhappy in the picture.
You know, I had my paws stucked in my own fur sometimes cos they get all matted up after I kept scratching it continously and my nails got caught in my own fur. You can imagine how I look like with my hind leg stuck behind my ear... I got to scream for help and nasty jie jie laughed at me too... darn...Luckily she did not take any pictures. Its so embarassing... so I won't laugh at Gunnar.

Things are getting back to normal but we still don't have our cable back yet but that's Ok cause the Mommy is trying to catch up on everybodies blog. Speaking of catching...a bird flew into my house today but the Mommy wouldn't let me play with it. She might post about it later tonight.

Thanks for tellin us bout your camra. Yes Mom would like to know mor. How much zoom? lag time? She loves photography and would like to b able to take the kinds of pics she would like. Man she coulda had some kicka-- pics in San Antonio. She knows it won't be the price of her FujiFinePix F700.(Isn't that what plastic is for?) That thing is about 4-5 yrs old and no zoom, and lag time is awful!! If you'd rather e-mail it is the texas sun dog at g mail dot com I have read lots of review and stuff, but thought I'd find out what all of y'all liked.
So yep, details! lol what you love about it, what you don't. I appreciate it. I know it takes time.
